Failure to adhere to
all the rules will mean disqualification and entry fee forfeited
2 / Eligibility
Teams must pay an
annual $50.00 registration fee
Tournaments are open
to all competitors regardless of engine or boat size
The Tournament Director
reserves the right to refuse entry to any team that
reflects negatively on the NB Pro Bass Tour or that publicly
exhibits un-sportsmanlike conduct
3 / Regulations
All federal,
provincial, coast guard, boating and angling regulations must be
strictly adhered to.
It is the anglers
responsibility to know all regulations and get required permits
4 / Team registration
Teams will be assigned
a team number
One team member must
be present in order to use the team number
All registration fees
paid in advance will be returned in the event a team cannot fish
a tournament registered for.
5 / Safety equipment
Each contestant is
required to an approved flotation device and must be hooked up to
kill switch when engine is running and in gear.
6 / Boat inspection
Tournament officials
prior to tournament must inspect boats and nothing shall be added
to boat after inspection without the approval of an official.
7 / Leaving the boat
All fishing must be
done from the boat
8 / Drugs or alcohol
No illegal drugs or
alcohol shall be consumed prior or
during tournament
fishing
hours. Teams to be found to
under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol
will be disqualified
9 / Rods
Each contestant is
allowed the maximum of one line in the water at any time
10 / Live wells
All fish must be kept
in a aerated live well
11 / Baits.
Only artificial baits
are allowed
12 / Culling
(a) (Kicker fish) You may
have six fish in your live well while fishing, but you must cull
to five fish when you
move to another spot
with the engine
(b) Teams caught with more
than six fish will be disqualified
13 / Angling hours
Angling hours shall be
7:00am thru 4:pm unless
otherwise notified
Start may be delayed
and a maximum of 30 minutes
will be added to the
tournament hours
A one pound per minute
will be assessed for each minute a team is late
14 / Take offs
Take offs will be
trickle start, boats leaving out of turn will be
disqualified
Teams deemed not to
able to take off safely will be held back
15 / Eligibility of fish
for weigh-in
Fish must be 12
inches or longer and live, short or dead fish will be assessed a
six
ounce penalty and
Short fish will not
be weighed
Lunker must be
marked and live prior to weigh-in
16 / Pre-fishing and off
limits
(a) Pre-fishing
tournament waters will cease Sunday
(sunset) prior to
tournament
(b) Pre-fishing
Championship waters will cease on
Sunday (sunset) two
weeks prior to the
tournament
(c) Boats may be on
tournament waters during the off limits as long as all fishing
equipment is stowed and not used. "fish finders and cameras are
allowed"
17 / Encroachment
Boat or lure is not
permitted within 75 feet of another boat
The Meduxnekeag and
Eel rivers will be classed as community waters in the
spring Woodstock tournament and the 75 foot rule will not apply
18 / Breakdown
In the event of a
breakdown teams may transfer their fish to another boat
(in separate live
wells) and go
directly to weigh-in
or may exchange boats and
continue fishing.
19 / Ties
(a) In the event
of a tie in the regular tournaments
prizes and money
will be added together and
divided equally
(b) In the event of a tie
for top position in the
Championship, teams will
fish for 1 hour with
the biggest fish
winning (a tournament
official will be
assigned to your boat during
this fish-off)
20 / Alternates
(a) Alternate can be used at
any time as long as one member of the team
is present.
(b) Alternate used in
Championship must have
been used during regular
season. In
the event there is no alternate,
you may fish alone.
21 /Trolling
No fishing with
the aid of the combustion engine however lures may be
fished with the
trolling motor
